William Roger Ferrell

William Roger “Bill” Ferrell, 70 passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Great Falls, MT. Bill was born July 25, 1951 in Havre, MT. He was raised in Havre until his dad transferred on the railroad to Malta in 1962. Bill went to job corp and when he came back to Malta he got a job working for the city of Malta. He also worked for Malta Opportunities.

He married Carolyn Kaasa of Malta in 1976. They had two children Lisa Marie and Scotty Dwayne.

In 1997 he got together with Colleen Diemert. Together they had a daughter Shelby Renae.

Bill was a sports fan of WWE Wrestling and most of all football. He was a huge fan of the Denver Broncos. Any chance he got to watch a game it was with his daughter.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents Cecil “Happy” Ferrell and Lillian (Cutler) Ferrell, sibling 4 year old Clifford Jerome Ferrell, his 2 month old son Scotty Dwayne Ferrell.

Bill is survived by his wife Colleen of 24 years, daughters Lisa Marie (Colton) Ray of Post Falls, Idaho, Shelby Renae Ferrell of Malta. His siblings Lois Demarais of Great Falls, Ruby Ann Ferrell of Great Falls, Carol Ferrell of Vancouver, WA, Richard (Marj) Ferrell of Norfolk, NE. Nieces and nephews and many friends.

Services will be Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:30am at Wilderness Funeral Home in Malta, MT. a potluck reception will take place after at the Vets Club in Malta.
