Velora Jean Matt

On April 3, 2024, our beloved mom, sister, auntie and grandma passed away at St. Vincent Hospital after a long illness. 
Velora “Jeannie” Matt was born on December 27, 1958 to Frank Stiffarm and Mary Violet Matt at Fort Belknap. They had 3 daughters, Francine, Velora and Vernelda. 
She married Brian Smith and they had two daughters Crystal and Katie, They later divorced. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Violet, Daughter Katie Smith, brothers Francis “Johnny Cake” Stiffarm, Tony Stiffarm, Rudy Shields, Mervyn “Bo” Sheilds, sisters Mercedes Shields Snell, and 2 infant sisters. 
Jeannie is survived by her daughter Crystal Smith, sons Frankie Stiffarm, Jim Stiffarm, brother Joe Sheilds, Sisters, Joanne Healy, Brenda Marjamaki, Francine Estell, Vernelda Matt, patty Stiffarm, and many grandbabies, nieces and nephews. 
Per Velora’s request there will be no services.
