Chinook resident Tony Collins, 75, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026
surrounded by family after complications of a stroke. Tony was born May 13, 1950 in
Hamlin, Texas to Joe and Faye Collins. He graduated from Hamlin High School in 1969.
Tony went on to marry Jamie Kim on March 1, 1974. They just celebrated 52 years of
marriage this March. Tony resided in Hamlin with his wife, Jamie, and his son, Taylor,
until 2007, when they decided to move to Chinook, Montana to be closer to their
Daughter, and Granddaughters. Tony welcomed his first, and only, grandson in 2008,
then another granddaughter in 2009.
Tony worked many jobs throughout his career, but he finished in 2016 as a truck
driver for CHS Inc. in Chinook. He also served on the Hamlin Volunteer Fire Department
for 15 years. Tony was a jack of all trades and a master of many hobbies. He enjoyed
leatherwork, woodwork, fabrication, barbecuing, fishing, and camping.
Tony is survived by his Wife, Jamie Collins, his three children, Melissa Olson
(Lueders, TX), Courtney (Scott) Skoyen, Taylor Collins, four Grandchildren, Bailey
Skoyen, Tasha Skoyen, Jonathan Skoyen and Rylin Collins and his favorite dog, Willow.
Tony is Preceded in Death by his parents, Joe and Faye Collins, and his brother, Larry
Collins.
As per Tony’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. He will be cremated and
brought to Neinda, Texas, to lay eternally with his parents and brother. Arrangements
have been entrusted to Wilderness funeral Home
