Theresa Tincher

Theresa Rita Tincher, 88, passed away at the Sweet Memorial Nursing Home in Chinook MT.

Theresa was born on November 21, 1934 at the Fort Belknap Agency in Fort Belknap MT to Leo and Violet Long Fox.

In 1954 Theresa met and married Arnold Lee Tincher in Butte, MT. After Arnold served in the Army he went to work in the Butte mines, after Kathy was born in Butte they then traveled to Seattle where Dwayne was Born, and later to Denver Colorado where Jay was born. Then moved back home to Fort Belknap.

Theresa worked for Fort Belknap Tribes for 45 years before retiring.  She was always there for whomever needed a helping hand.  Her family and friends called her sister.

She is survived by her son Jay and his wife Michelle, Dwayne and his wife Audrey, and daughter her Kathy. 10 Grandchildren and numerous Great grandchildren. Her sisters Angie and her husband Hawkey Jo, Wilma and her husband Merle, and Brothers Richard and his wife Halley, and Daniel.
