Theresa Ann Doney

Theresa Ann Doney, Ɔhɔ́ɔ́kyaa í3eih (Crazy Girl), 42, passed away on October 14, 2022 in Great Falls MT. 

Theresa was born on August 22,1980 to Dale and Carol Doney in Havre MT.  She mostly grew up in Hays Lodgepole area where she attended High School and was a scrappy volleyball player. Later she attended Aaniiih Nakoda College, besides being a mom she got a job with the tribe as a finance Office. She also did camp crews and took care of her parents. 

She like to wash her grandchild’s clothes, drive her nieces, and nephews around to help her family.  She like to cruise with her friends, make spaghetti and bread as often as she could. Theresa loved to watch her children play sports and encourage them to be the best at what they chose to do.

Theresa left behind so many memories for all of us.  She was a wonderful caring daughter, a great cleaner and caretaker for her parents. She was a caring and loving mother who raised her children with the help of her parents.  She loved her nieces, nephews and all her cousins as her own. They will always cherish her memory forever. Theresa never judged anyone that crossed her path, she took people under her wing and helped them to better themselves.  Theresa was the most loving, caring and thoughtful person and she never left anyone out.

Theresa is proceeded in death by her mother Carol, Grandparents, uncles Francis Werk, Hank Doney, Dan Racine, Moses, and “Magic”.

She is survived by her father Dale, sons JD LaSarte, Jarren LaSarte, daughter Lexus LaSarte, Grandson Jayden, her brother Adam (Anny) Doney, Sister Lindsay (Mark) Messerly, nieces and nephews Chevelle, Addyson, Dustin, Mia, Katilynn, Kaison, Devon (Son) LaSarte and her adopted son Littleman Ironbear. And all her aunts uncles and other family.
