Our beloved mother Susan Ann Hofer, age 68, of East Malta H.B. passed away peacefully into the eternal rest with Jesus.  Her Journey Began at Grass Range MT. Born May 20 1952 to Rev John and Annie Hofer, she was the oldest of 10 children. Moving to Turner MT, she met and married the love of her life Darius (Clem) Hofer.  From this beautiful union six children were born. After moving to Malta MT.  Mom and Dad were strong individuals during their difficult times but managed wonderfully.  Mom will be remembered  as a strong, vibrant, kind, selfless, and softhearted woman.  Her love of God , her children, daughter-in laws, son-in laws, grandkids were her life.  In fact they were her life.  She was extremely proud of how far we have come at East Malta and would always say to her boys"your dad would be proud." Our mother taught us many things that hold us stead fast today.  These values make us who we are today.  She was one proud woman who believed that there was no obstacle that couldn't be over come, and she faced and overcame many.  Mom had many friends of all age and loved each and everyone of them. Even though she is gone her legacy will live on in all of us. She was an incredible teacher, mother and grandmother who inspired everyone who knew her. Mom has always been our support and strength when time were tough.  Her voice of reason often helped though the most difficult times.  We will always draw strength from her memories. We love you mom you will leave a massive hole in our hearts.

She leaves to mourn her daughters, Karen (Jerry) Hofer of Harlem, Sharon (Arnie) Hofer of Harlem, Sons Steve (Barbara) Hofer, Kenneth(Debbie), Rev William(Carol) Hofer all of East Malta Colony.
