Shirley Marie Vickhammer

Shirley Marie Vickhammer, age 69, went home to be with her Savior on October 26th, 2022. Shirley was born in Glasgow, MT to Harry and Stella Fauth on August 31st, 1953. The oldest of 9 children, she was raised in Larslan, MT and graduated from Opheim High School. After moving to Malta, she found the man she wanted to build a life with and on October 30th, 1976, she married Rusty Vickhammer. They made their home in Malta and happily welcomed three daughters. Shirley was an avid reader, enjoyed camping in the mountains with Rusty, cherished visits with family and friends over coffee and adored her grandkids. Shirley suffered with many health issues over the last 10 years, but through it all, her faith was unwavering. Although we mourn the loss of our wife, mother, grandma, sister and friend, we take great comfort in knowing that she is now fully restored, rejoicing in Heaven. Shirley will be remembered as a caregiver who gave generously  of her time and resources and loved unconditionally. Shirley is survived by her husband Rusty, daughters Mandi & Ryan Bebee (Zackary & Madison) Belfield, ND; Stephanie & John Marcell (Christopher & Logan) Lewistown, MT and Sonya & Clark Kratzer (Mariah, Lila & Samantha) Moorcroft, WY. She is also survived by siblings Jim & Nancy Fauth, Tami & Ross Christofferson and Melodee & Sean Kavanaugh of Malta; Doug & Mary Fauth of Rapid City, SD; Emmanuel & Brynda Fauth and Paul & Sarah Fauth of Caldwell, ID; and Becki & Blair Sheffield of Kuna, ID; as well as many nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Darlene Boothe. A private family service will be held at a later date.
