Shirley Ann Reynolds, 88, passed away in the early hours of December 7, 2025 in Laurel, Montana surrounded by her 3 sons: Curtis, Brian and Robert. She was born on June 20th,1937 at Fort Belknap, Montana to Jess and Ida Freestone. She was the fourth of their seven children. She also joined four step siblings. She was raised in Zortman and Malta areas.
Shirley was a member of the Malta Womans Auxiliary Club and Malta Elim Lutheran Brethren Church. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, Bible Study, Bingo, and visiting with friends and family who would call her.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Jack, sons Ricky and Kelly, and a great granddaughter Emilia. She is survived by her youngest brother: Teddy (Edda) Freestone; her three sons: Curt (Kari), Brian (Deanna), and Robert (Anita), Five Grandchildren: Jennifer (Caleb) Best, Brett (Katie) Reynolds, LeighAnn (Brian) Gunnar, Virginia (Robbie) Crigamire, Kelli Reynolds; and five great grandchildren: Piper and Oakley Crigamire, Ireland, Sebastian and Xavier Best, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 15th at 11:00am at the Wilderness Funeral Home in Malta with graveside services and burial at the Dodson cemetery. Reception immediately following at the Malta VFW.
