Shirlene Ann Walker

Shirlene Ann Walker passed away May 27, 2025 at Sweet Memorial Nursing Home in Chinook, MT. A wake will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 7:00 PM and funeral services will be held Friday, May 30th at 11:00 AM. Services will be held at Medicine Bear Senior Center in Lodge Pole, MT.

Shirlene was born February 3, 1962 to Shirley and Dallas Walker in Fort Belknap, MT. She grew up in Lodge Pole and later graduated from Hays Lodge Pole High School where she was a high school all conference basketball player.

Dodo was only mean to people she didn't like. She loved all the grandchildren, and all our children as her own. She was so proud to be there. She loved CRC (cool renegade chicks), visiting her friends, and dancing. At times, she wasn’t shy about dancing on the table, and she loved listening and singing to George Jones. She was free-spirited and loved to joke around. She loved her brothers and never tired of bragging about them.

Shirlene was preceded in death by grandparents Eugene and Stella Gunn; parents Shirley and Dallas Walker; brothers Mervin Buddy Walker, Keith Bam Walker, Thomas Tuby Walker, Michael Walker; sister Stella Walker; and Son Anthony Sanchez.

Shirlene is survived by Delmar Walker (Jackie); brother Dale Walker (Lorilane); sister Eva Walker (Brian); and numerous nieces and nephews.
