Sharyl Ann Shakal

Sharyl Ann Shakal, 67, passed away on January 27, 2025, at Northern Montana Care Center in Havre MT.  Sharyl was born on December 10, 1957, in Portland Oregon to Jerome and Gloria Mattern. She later met and married her husband Jerome Shakal and spent most of their years in Havre where they raised their 2 children. Sharyl worked as a Kitchen Aid for Northern Montana Hospital. She was very crafty, loved knitting, and sticky dot pictures.  Sharyl was a very patient, caring person and she had a place in her heart for anyone down on their luck and always helped as much as she could.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer Shakal, parents, Jerome and Gloria Mattern, Brothers Brian Mattern, Sisters Tammy Frasier, and Nancy Mattern.

Sharyl is survived by her husband Jerome Shakal of Havre MT, son, Robin Shakal of Strafford NH, and grand children Claire and Elaine Shakal.

There will be no services at this time, Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to Wilderness Funeral Homes of Havre.
