Robert Cox

Robert Cox, 85, passed on to be with his Lord and Savior January 15, 2024 in Chinook, MT. Robert was born in Havre, MT and raised on the family ranch 35 miles north of Havre with his sister and two brothers. He loved to work with horses, dogs, and cattle.

Robert rodeoed for 8 years in Montana, Arizona, Texas, and California before buying the ranch in the Bear Paw Mountains where he and his family spent their lives. In 1958, he married Audrey Velk, they have four children.

He was preceded in death by grandson Levi Baird, his parents Art Cox and Bertha Sargent Cox, brothers Larry and Conrad Cox.

He is survived by his wife Audrey, daughters Twila (Dusty) Young, Vineè (Gene) Ryg, Starla (Clayton) Annis, son Mardy Cox, grandchildren Taleena (Trevor) Richardson, Dusten (Mariah) Young, Linae (Ryan) Jensen, Larissa (Brock) Aiton, Loreena (Zach) Proud, Brittney Cox, Flint Annis, 19 great grandchildren, and sister Norma Dell (Wayne) Brown.
