Raymond Snell Obituary

Raymond Michael Snell, age 63, passed away November 6, 2021, at Peace Hospice in Great Falls, MT. A wake will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 6:00 PM, with a rosary at 7:00 PM, and a funeral mass will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11:30 AM. Both services will be held at St. Paul’s Recreation Center in Hays, MT.

Raymond was born January 20, 1958 in Mountain Home, ID, to Albert Snell and Roberta Browning. On February 3, 1982, he was married to Ione Snell. They lived in Hays, MT where he worked as a firefighter until he retired.

Raymond had various outdoor hobbies including fishing, hunting, and camping. He also enjoyed coin collecting and visiting his family, friends, and relatives.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Ione Kirkaldie Snell, sons, Coshaunn (Dianna) Snell, Darren Flansburg, Isaiah Fox Raised, daughters, Wendlin Kirkaldie, Julie Werk, 13 grandchildren, three special aunts, Geraldine Doney, Rosemary Peak, Lois Peak, 32 foster children, brothers, James (Lila) Snell, David Snell, Ed (Rhonda) Snell, Ronald Snell, sisters, Jackie Gonzalez, Pricilla Heflin, Daisy Hurt, Velvet (CM) Werk, and Darla (Josh) Werk.
