Raymond Glenn Cebulski, 99, of Seeley Lake, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026, in Missoula. Raymond was born October 9, 1926, the first of two sons born to Nicholas and Bertha Cebulski. He graduated from Malta High School in 1945. In the Spring of 1949 Raymond meet his late wife, Barbara, at a country dance and married on September 17, 1949, in Malta. They spent the first nine years of their married life on the Miller Brothers Land & Livestock as the youngest ranch manager breaking horses and managing about 7,500 cows. During his time with the Miller Brothers, Raymond and Barbara welcomed their five children. In 1961, the family made their way to Clinton and Raymond started a new career loading lumber on the boxcars at Clearwater Junction for Pyramid Lumber, Inc. In 1972, Raymond and the family moved to Seeley Lake where he started Cebulski Trucking. For the next 22 years he hauled log homes and lumber across the United States. Raymond and Barbara were married for 73 years.
Raymond was an active member of his community serving on the Clinton school board, the Seeley Lake Lions Club, and more than 45 years on the Missoula Electric Co-op Board. Because of Raymond’s reputation and time with Miller Brothers Land & Livestock, he was inducted into the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame in 2022. Raymond was most at home in his saddle and shared his passion with his family and friends. He loved camping, exploring unseen locations, and always had a story to tell about his adventures in the Bob Marshall Wilderness or his time as a ranch manager.
