Michael Lloyd Tribby passed away on February 12, 2025 at the age of 70. Born on February 1, 1955 to Lloyd (Pete) and Shirley Tribby, Mike was the oldest of seven children. He grew up in Malta attending Malta school, playing football, helping on the family farm, and teasing his six younger sisters. An avid outdoorsman, he loved spending time hunting and fishing with friends and family and riding his motorcycles.
Mike was a hard worker all his life and held various jobs in Malta and Glasgow after high school before working in the North Dakota oil fields for several years. After moving back to Malta in 1986, he worked for many years driving truck for R&G Feeds and then the City of Malta before retiring in 2020.
Mike married the love of his life, Debbie Snider, in 1988. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Rheannon and Michaela and became very proud grandparents to Dannylinn, Emma, and Greyson. Their home is always open and the center of activity for their grandkids, nieces, and great nieces and nephews.
Mike was the best son, big brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend that anyone could wish for. Family was always his number one priority and he could always be counted on to come to the rescue if help was needed. He loved visiting, playing cards, and picking on his sisters, nieces, and nephews at family gatherings. A favorite annual event was packing up the family to visit the elk viewing area and spend a week camping at Kipp Campground.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Shirley Tribby, and parents in-law Dan and Marlys Snider. He is survived by his wife Deb; daughters Rheannon Tribby, and Michaela (Micheal) Haynes; grandchildren Dannylinn Haynes, Emma Haynes, and Greyson Haynes; sisters Chris (Jim) Taylor, Pam (Bill) Langel, Janna (Clint) Simpson, Lori (Tom) Kruse, Kathy Tribby, and Dawn (Barry) Crowder. Mike is also survived by in-laws Alan and Christine Snider and Wendy and Tom Miller, many beloved nieces, great nieces, great nephews and many special friends who he considered to be family.
Cremation has taken place and the family has chosen to hold a celebration of life at a later date.
