Margaret Rose “Maggie” Bear was born on April 26, 1994, in Havre, MT to Wesley (Bear) Medicine Bear and Crystal (Piapot) Bear.
She attended school in Moses Lake, WA, Harlem, MT, and Dodson, MT. She graduated from Dodson High School in 2012.
She enjoyed her career as a traveling CNA and as a jack of many trades, she obtained her flagger certification. She especially loved spending time with her kids and her siblings. She also had a special relationship with her Grandma Bear and spent a lot of time with her before she passed away in July 2021. She was her father’s daughter and always wanted to make Wes proud of her.
Her “therapy” was horses, hanging out with friends, cruising back roads, bonfires, listening to music, and dancing. Her biggest joy was laughing, having fun, and trying to make others laugh.
She was a cowboy at heart. She found joy riding horses, branding calves, barrel racing, and helping break horses. She discovered she really liked ranch bronc riding and went to rodeos with her friend, Travis Scheffelmaer.
She passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Erma Bear, and her son, Caleb. She is survived by her children, Ahriana, Kellin, Quentin, and Luca Jaynes and their father, Brett; her daughter, Tessa; her parents, Wes and Lynette Medicine Bear; and siblings, Kyle Medicine Bear, Brandon Ashworth, Karis Bear, Tawny Walkup, Kimber Walkup, Kodi Bear, Tyra Medicine Bear, Keonna Medicine Bear, and Brielle MedicineBear; uncles, Charlie Bear and Tom Medicine Bear; aunt, Marge (Frank) Plumage; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
