Marcia Lynn (Billings) Kent

Marcia Lynn (Billings) Kent was born in Craig, Colorado, to Ira and Ann Billings on August 31, 1951. She joined her sisters, Mary and Karen.  Her family moved to Baggs, Wyoming, where she grew up on her family’s ranch. Marcia spent her younger years enjoying ranch life with her family. She had many jobs throughout her life; she enjoyed her time the most at The Holiday in Billings. In her younger years, she spent time transporting racehorses with her best friend Missy, speaking fondly of those times and her best friend. She was a religious follower of Horse racing and her favorite soap opera, General Hospital, demanding peace and quiet from 1-2 pm Monday through Friday, hardly ever missing an episode or race.

Later, Marcia married Willis “Bubby” Kent in 1982, which led to the birth of her only son, Logan, in 1986 in Lewistown, Montana. They later divorced but remained friends throughout life. Marcia met and fell in love with Michael Rawlins in July 1991, and they remained together until her passing. Living through many trials and triumphs along the way. She was a devoted mother to her son Logan and eventually her daughter Angel, giving her 4 beautiful grandchildren: Vanessa, Adrianna, Roman, and Rachel. And her only great-grandchild, Avariah. Somewhere along the way, she gained her nother other son, Travis Tuma, whom she loved like her own. Marcia loved her grandchildren and had many family get-togethers, meals, and holidays. Her favorite was near Christmas when all her kids and grandchildren would come over and decorate the house and Christmas tree. Marcia enjoyed many things throughout her life: bird watching, fishing for brookies on the creek, mountain air, spending time with her family, and horses.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Ann Billings. She is survived by her longtime partner, Michael Rawlins of Malta, son Logan (Angel) Kent of Malta, and nother other son, Travis (Liz) Tuma of Malta. Grandchildren Vanessa Mann, Adrianna Kent, Roman Kent, and Rachel Kent all of Malta. Her great-granddaughter Avariah Dvorshak of Malta. Her sisters Mary Waldron of Baggs, Wyoming and Karen (Mike) Buchanan of Pavillion, Wyoming. Numerous loved nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
