Marcella Marie Billadeau Boling

Denton- Marcella Marie Billadeau Boling passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020-while surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Marcella was born to Virgie and Lawrence Billadeau on June 14, 1929 and, after graduating from Denton High School, married Wayne Boling two weeks after her 18th birthday. Marcella and Wayne moved to Coffee Creek after Wayne finished college in Bozeman, and for the rest of her wonderful years she was involved in numerous church and community activities, clubs, and charities. She taught Sunday School, was a cub scout den mother, joined toastmistress, Home demonstration club, was a Girl's State counselor for nine years becoming the director in '76. Marcella was a life member of Legion Aux, served as a election judge in Coffee Creek, Denton, and Lewistown. She was a blood donor and served as a hospital pink lady when she moved to Lewistown. She also listened to 1st graders read with her best friend Ester Heckford. Marcella loved to travel and, as a way to share her passion with others, organized bus tours across the United States for more than 15 years. She visited all 50 states and traveled to Europe several times. She enjoyed playing the piano for church and school plays that her children preformed in during their school-aged years. She is survived by her five children: Randall Boling of Lewistown; Rita Surber (Larry) of Chinook; Richard Boling (Audrey) of Lewistown; Rory Boling (Mary) of Bozeman; and Rod Boling of Denton. Marcella was perhaps most proud of her grandchildren. Six grandchildren: Sean Boling (Janet); Sonja Boling (Dave); Sanda Boling (Mike); Chad Surber (Vanessa); Jennifer Boling-Ellens (Jeffrey); Jeff Boling. Eight geat-grandchildren: Dylan Surber, Jordan Surber, Lily Surber, Shelby Boling, Jake Boling, and Oriah, Tenzin, and Valen Boling Ellens. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her grandson Trever Surber. Services will be held on Tuesday, March, 10th at 11am at the Denton Methodist Church. A reception at the Denton town hall will follow the funeral services before Marcella's burial at the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lewistown.
