Lynda Rae Sullivan passed away on October 18, 2024, from a short battle with Covid. She was born on April 1, 1949 to Steve & Betty Zunick in Butte where she spent all of her childhood and younger adult life. From birth she made it known she was no April Fool’s joke! In 1970, Lynda married Don Sullivan and together they had Chris. Although their marriage was short, Don & Lynda remained life-long friends. Lynda spent many years working for the Women’s Correctional Facility. Later she dabbled in home health care in both Helena & Great Falls. By 2020, dementia kicked in and Lynda made the Sweet Nursing home her new home until her passing.
One of Lynda’s greatest joy’s in her life were her dogs. Over the years she had numerous pets that she treated all as humans. She also took great pride in her grandchildren. She was never seen without a Diet Pepsi and cigarette in hand and loved a good game of cribbage.
Lynda is survived by her son, Chris (Kari) Sullivan and her grandchildren Caden & Kohen Sullivan. She is proceeded in death by her parents Steve & Betty Zunick. A private burial will follow in Butte this next spring.
