Lona Loy Pekovitch

Lona Loy Pekovitch passed away surrounded by her loving family into the arms of her Lord & Savior on September 29, 2023. She was born on August 3, 1966 to Lester & Sandra Wiebe in Glasgow, MT.

She attended Malta Schools and graduated in May of 1985. She worked at First Security Bank and Ben Franklins in Malta before starting a daycare in her home.

She married Walter Pekovitch on March 21, 1986. They welcomed their first child, Colten on December 12, 1989 followed by a daughter Corrine on March 24, 1992. Their daughter Seterah joined the family in June of 2012.

The family moved to the country in 2003 and Lona started working at the Malta Junior High School as a resource aide, she held that job for 17 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She shared an abundance of love with all of her special furred and feathered friends throughout the years.

She is survived by her husband Walter; Son Colten, Daughters Corrine (Scott) Hould and Seterah. Her parents Lester and Sandra Wiebe and her brother Kevin (Barb) Wiebe. And all her aunts, uncles and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her infant siblings Corrine & Michael and her grandparents.
