Lois Marie (Leazenby) Benson

Lois Marie (Leazenby) Benson, age 89, a resident of Hoquiam, Washington, died on June 28, 2020, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington. Mrs. Benson was born on June 13, 1931, in Laramie, Wyoming to Junior John Wesley and Margaret Sarah (Prue) Leazenby.   She had worked as an accountant in Havre, Montana. She moved to Hoquiam from Big Sandy, Montana in 2009. Surviving relatives include a daughter, Diane M. Gibby (Carl) of Hoquiam, Washington; a son Gary R. Benson (Bonnie) of Helena, Montana; one brother, John Wesley Leazenby, II (Sally) of Missouri; 6 grandchildren; 1 step grandchild and numerous great grandchildren. There were three brothers that died previously. A private interment will be at the Kuper Memorial Cemetery in Harlem, Montana. A family memorial in Montana will follow at a later date.
