Lila Delores Licht

Lila Delores Licht, 93, of Malta, Montana passed away of natural causes on 5/28/2024 at Benefis Peace Hospice in Great Falls, Montana.

Lila was born in Dodson, Montana to John and Olive (Link) Kovach on 01/07/1931. She attended the Hermanson school South of Loring (where her Father also attended) then moved to Malta and later on moved to South Wagner and finished High School in Malta. She married Gaylon Licht on 10/28/1949 at the Malta Lutheran Church.

She worked as a salesclerk for Anthony's for 12 years then was with the ASCS office for 18 years. She was an active member of the Malta Lutheran Church. She resided at the Country Home for several months before moving into HLRC in 2015. She moved to The Lodge in Great Falls in September of 2022, then moved to the Grandview in March of 2024. Lila entered into Benefis Peace Hospice in April 2024. She truly appreciated all the help and support that was given by family, friends, Doctors, staff and volunteers. She loved her family, church, computer, pinochle and sports.

Lila is preceded in death by her Husband Gaylon, Parents John and Olive Kovach, and Brothers Darrell and Leon Kovach.

Lila is survived by her four children Gerald & (Bobbie) Licht of Billings, MT, Denise & (Ric) Floren of Havre, MT, Rene’ & (Steve) Radovich of Great Falls, MT and Roxanne & (Steve) Sprague of Surrey, ND, brother Arlen Kovach of Billings, MT. Grandchildren Stacy Purrington, Kevin Radovich and Steven Sprague. Step grandchildren Lacey Scales, David & Derrick Floren and great grandson Tyler Dowell.

Visitation will be at the Wilderness Funeral Home in Malta, Montana on 5/31/2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, 6/1/2024 at the Malta Lutheran Church with Pastor Bob Nagy officiating. Burial will follow at Malta Cemetery. Arrangements are made by the Wilderness Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the Malta Lutheran Church or to a Charity of your choice.
