Lawrence L. Miller, 89, passed away on October 29, 2024 at the Sweet Memorial Nursing Home with his wife, Sheri, by his side.
Lawrence was born and raised in the Milk River Valley by Paul and Mabel Miller. He married Sheri Corrigan on August 9, 1958. They were happily married for 66 years. They spent the first 4 years of their married life around Great Falls where he worked in construction. In 1962, they moved back to Chinook where they raised two boys, Lawny and Alan, and farmed irrigated land. He was a very hard worker and made many friends through the years. Lawrence was a boxing coach and loved team roping. He was a member of the Chinook Alliance Church where he served on the Board at one time.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mabel Miller; two sisters, Buelah Skoyen and Frances Ewing, and his brother, Paul Miller. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Sheri Miller; his son Lawny Miller; his son Alan Miller (wife Kelley); His grandchildren, Justin Chaffins (wife Kimberly), Lucas Chaffins (wife Emily), Tessa McCarty (husband Ryan) and 5 great grandchildren; Zoey, Tatem, Carson, Piper and Duncan.
