Joy Corner

Joy Baye Corner, 76, passed away due to natural causes at her home in Havre, on December 12th, 2020.  Cremation has taken place by Wilderness Funeral Home with family services at Highland cemetery will be held at a later date. Joy was born in Oakland, CA on September 10th, 1944, to parents Fred and Olga Bennett.  Joy had two older siblings: sister, Penny Whitaker, brother, Gary Bennett, and two younger sisters, Sara Rodgers, and Bonnie Bennett.  Joy attended school in Havre and married Eugene Corner Jr. on March 21st, 1962. Joy was a loving wife, mom, grandma, and great grandma.  Joy enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Joy was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Olga Bennett, sister Bonnie Bennett, and sister Penny Whitaker. Joy is survived by her husband, Gene Corner of Havre, sons; Monte Corner, Russell (Patti) Corner of Havre, Wes (Denyalle) Corner of Great Falls, Joseph Corner of Havre, Sheldon Corner, and Kevin (Carrie) Corner of Havre. Grandchildren; Michael Davis of Jamestown, NY, Jody Corner of Havre (great grandchildren; Chloe, Russell, Christina, and Cailegh Joy),  James Corner of Havre, Christian Corner of Great Falls (great grandchildren; Carson and Chloe Corner),  Macy, Jude, and Zak Corner of Great Falls, Chazley Hulett of Havre, Erin Hulett of New Mexico, Saraii Walston of Hampton, VA, Hayley Coffee of Havre, Izaak Corner of Havre, Rocky, Maya, Austin, and Brodie Corner of Kalispel, Dodson, Annabelle, and Jackson Corner of Havre, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
