Jeri Ann Bear

Jeri Ann Bear - Belcourt, age 33, passed away in Billings, MT on October 27th, 2021. Jeri leaves behind her two children Brandi Jada Jo Cochran and Jason David Cochran.

Jeri Ann was born on April 19th, 1988. To Mamee Jean Bear and Gerald “Bessie” Healy Sr. She was adopted by Ethel Bear and Sonny Belcourt. Jeri was raised in Ft. Belknap where she attended school in Harlem, MT. Even though Jeri had a rambunctious and carefree soul, she was also a caretaker. She took pride in caring for her family and friends. She loved meeting new people, visiting family, cruising and listening to music. Jeri enjoyed her downtime with her babies.

Jeri is preceded in death by her adopted mother Ethel Mae Bear, her biological father Gerald “Bessie” Healy Sr., Sister Brandi Lee Blatt, Nephew Allen John Longsoldier Jr. “AJ”, her Significant other Jason David Cochran Sr., Uncles Elwood “Brother” Beak, John Joseph Bear Sr., Joseph John Bear Sr., Aunts Rosella Marie Birdtail, Aimee Jo Bear, Claudia Ann Bear, Grandmother Viola Marie Nicklson, and Grandfather Wallace Henry Bear Sr. 

She is survived by her two children Brandi Jada Jo Cochran, 10 years old, Jason David Cochran Jr., 7 years old, “Tiny man”, Mother Mamee Jean Bear, adopted Father Sonny Belcourt, Sisters Amber Bear, Audrey Healy, Shirley Healy, Shelly Healy, Sissy Healy-Blackcrow, Maria Izabel Orellana-Yellow Tail “Izzy”, Brothers Waylon Bear, Wallace Bear, Zane Blatt, Gerald “Manny” Healy Jr., and Adrian Fox, Nieces Aimee Messerly, Tylyn Messerly, Paige Matte, Jade Matte, her Aunt Wallene Bear, numerous cousins who she loved dearly, numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
