Gordon Allen Obituary

Gordon Howard Allen, 65, passed away on April 10, 2025, at his home in Hays MT.  He was born to William (Babe) Allen Sr. and Mary Ann Crazy in Fort Belknap MT.  He went to the St. Paul’s Mission Grade School and later went on to Chemawa Indian Boarding School and graduated in 1985.  He also played basketball while in school there. As a baby, when Gordon would cry, he would sound like a bird and his dad gave him the nickname “Chirp”. He loved playing with his Tonka Trucks as a kid and he loved his motorcycles! He enjoyed driving his Ford pickups. He loved watching PBR!!!
Gordon met his wife and soulmate Chrissy on June 8, 1989. They enjoyed 34 years together. They enjoyed working with each other and being with each other. Gordon was just and all-around cowboy, farmer, and rancher for many years.  He loved working outdoors, riding horses, hunting, and fishing. He also loved visiting with friends and relatives. He had so much love in his heart for Jesus and all his people! A person couldn’t help but share his joy and happiness. 
He is survived by his wife Chrissy, and his sister, Wilma Allen of Hays MT., Geraldine Allen (Gordon) Gone of Hays MT., Noreen Allen (Richard) Toledo of Albuquerque NM.,  and also numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and also god children.  He was also a sponsor to Jim Has the Eagle, his brother-in-law.  He will be greatly missed by everyone!! He is preceded in death by his father, Willia, Mother MaryAnn, brothers Matthew Floyd, Bill and sister Linda.
