Elaine Pearl Morin

Elaine Pearl (Lavenger) Morin passed away October 10, 2025 at home after a prolonged illness.

Elaine was born to James and Elizabeth Lavenger January 20, 1949 at Fort Belknap, MT. She was an enrolled member of the Little Shell Tribe of MT. Elaine was raised and attended school in Chinook. She married Harley Morin with whom she raised two children, Joey and Jazzmine.

Elaine spent a number of years working at rest homes including Sweet Home in Chinook and Aspen Meadows in Billings.

Elaine leaves behind her children Joey and Jazzmine, along with granddaughters Angelica Garza of Billings and Aubrey and Onyx Giles of Helena; sisters Phillis Trotchie of Great Falls, Ruby Chavis of Willingboro, NJ, Karen Lavenger of Billings, Cheryl Lavenger of Marysville, WA; brothers Bill and Gary Lavenger of Billings, Jack (Caryn) of Missoula.

Preceding her in death are her parents; Harley; brothers Eddie, Mike, and Bob; sisters Edith, Gloria, and Betty.
