Dyllan Murray Obituary

Dyllan James Murray, was born on May 26, 2000, to Kari (Gierke) Parrow and David Murray. Dyllan, 21, tragically passed away in the early morning on Sunday, October 17, 2021. Upon his birth, his sister Makayla was excited to have a little brother. He was a wonderful baby and brought joy to those around him. He came into this world center of attention and never stopped seeking the spotlight. If you were down around Dyllan, it didn’t last long.

In 2005, Dyllan eagerly awaited the birth of his half-brother. Sadly, his brother, Devyon, was born sleeping and it changed Dyllan forever. He both loved and experienced hurt with all his heart. Dyllan and Devyon will be laid to rest together. Dyllan later welcomed a sister, Ashlyn Schmidt in 2007. Dyllan couldn’t wait to get to the hospital to read to his sister. He took her under his wing and when mom needed a break to do daily chores, you could find Dyllan holding his sister on the bean bag while they slept. In 2009, Daltyn was added to clan, and he couldn’t have been happier to finally have a brother. During this time, he built a strong bond with his stepdad, Jeremy Schmidt.

Dyllan moved between Havre and other towns growing up. Touching so many people in each place he visited. He loved playing sports with a special passion for football and baseball. Dyllan could eat you out of house and home if you had the right food. He was larger than life and everyday was a reason to celebrate. Dyllan’s favorite holidays were his birthday, Halloween, and Christmas. He couldn’t wait to celebrate and was always dressed up in his unique style, whether it be dressing up as buzz lightyear or wearing the ugly sweater or dressing like Joe Dirt. Dyllan graduated from High School in 2019 from Brockton High School. Dyllan then moved back to Havre making it his forever home except for one summer living in his dad’s camper in Great Falls.

Dyllan loved Ford trucks and owned “Big Bird” along with his Red Ford F350. At one point, he was in school to become a diesel mechanic. When Dyllan wasn’t working, he was hanging out with friends. He was considered the big brother of the group, always making sure they had rides home and they were taken care of. Dyllan would always lighten the mood and bring smiles to faces with his antics. He was always telling his friends how good they looked and boosting their confidence.

Dyllan is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Juliann Murray, Paternal great grandparents Rose and Emil Weigle, Delphine and Hassen Murray. Dyllan is also preceded by his brother Devyon Schmidt, Great Uncle Robert Gierke, Maternal great grandfathers Darrell Gierke and Richard Burgett.
