Douglas Kroll

Douglas Alan Kroll of Reston, Virginia passed away on July 7th, at the age of 64. He was

survived by his beloved wife Kelly Kroll, father Al Kroll, daughter Katie Cossey (Derek), son

David Kroll, grandchildren Duke and Kennedy Cossey, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces

and Cousins. Preceding him in his death was his mother Ruby Kroll, and brother Kim Kroll.

Doug was born in Havre, MT to Al and Ruby Kroll. He attended Glasgow High School where he

was on the varsity football, wrestling, and track team. He went on to attend Montana State

University where he majored in business administration and continued his wrestling career.

Doug worked his college summers on the Great Northern Railroad company.

Upon graduation from college he enlisted in the US Army and was stationed in Germany and

Washington, DC. He was proud of his contribution to the defense of our great country.

He married his wife Kelly in 1993 and was happily married for 30 years. Doug lead a dedicated

life making sure his kids had the best of everything and were able to participate in many

different opportunities be it sports, academic, or travel related.

Doug enjoyed his last years BBQing amazing food on his Green Egg, spending time with his

grandkids, and going to football games all across the country.

He will be missed by many.
