Dennis Nelson

Dennis R. Nelson was taken home on May 24, 2024. He was 71 years old. There will be a viewing on Wednesday the 29th from 6-8pm, funeral services will be held Thursday the 30th at 11am at Wilderness Funeral Homes Malta. Burial will follow at Malta Cemetery and a reception will follow at the VFW. Arrangements have been made by Wilderness Funeral Homes.

Dennis was born in Malta on April 27, 1953 to Elmer and Dorothy Nelson. Dennis grew up in Montana all his life. Dennis enjoyed listening to country music and traveling the back roads. He also enjoyed collecting vehicles, there wasn’t a vehicle he didn’t like. Dennis was married to Jackie Shields.

Dennis is survived by two brothers Danny (Kathy) Nelson, Jerry Nelson and one sister Londa Nelson, all of Chinook; along with numerous nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces.

Dennis is proceeded in death by his wife, his parents Elmer W. and Dorothy Nelson, one sister Brenda Pacheco, twin brothers Elvon Nelson, Elmer Nelson, and two brothers Jimmy Dale Nelson and Nikita Adam Nelson.  Rest in Peace, Bro!
