Delores Snow Obituary

Delores Inez Snow , “Two Eagle”, 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 30, 2025. She is now reunited with her parents, husband, siblings, grandchildren, and close friends. Most people refer to her as “Gramma Dee”.

Grandma Dee was born on July 15, 1936, in Wolf Point, MT, to Florence and August Durand. She was an enrolled member of the Fort Peck Assiniboine Tribes and was a member of the Wadopana Clan. She was raised and resided in Harlem, MT and graduated High School from Harlem High School on May 19, 1954. After high school, she attended Commercial College in Great Falls. Thereafter for over 34+ years she worked for BIA in Reality.

Delores had four sons, Steve, Cal, Dondy, and Dave, before meeting the love of her life, Jim “Snowman” Snow who were married for over 30-years. Throughout her life, she enjoyed BINGO, Bowling, Gambling, attending Harlem Wildcat Basketball games, and watching and attending events for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was blessed to meet and cherish her great-great grandchildren (5-generations) Amiliana, Rickson, and Bear.

Every year, Grandma always made sure all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren received birthday cards and Christmas cards/gifts. One of her favorite events is when her grandsons, Adam and Kevin, won the 2002 Class B State Basketball Championship that was coached by her son Cal and assistant coach, her grandson Kyle.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and August Durand; her husband, Jim Snow; her sisters, Charlene Leo and Norma Garcia; her brothers, Thomas Durand and Wilbur Red Stone; her son, Dave Garcia; her daughter in law, Monica Bigby; and her grandchildren, Kelli Bigby and Wil Bigby.

Delores was survived by her sons, Steve (Nancy) Gardener, Cal (Marilyn) Bigby, and Dondy Bigby; her grandchildren Dawn Marie (Chico) Menjivar, Wayne Bigby, Dana (Ray) Kingfisher, Kyle Bigby, Alan Sr. (Amber) Bigby, Kevin Sr. (Lisa) Bigby, Adam (Diana) Bigby, Vance Bigby, Neeko Bigby, and Emily Gardener; her great-grandchildren Shauntae (John) Sunchild, Savannah (Korbin) Menjivar, Carlos (Angelicia) Menjivar, Ronaldo Menjivar, Kelbi (Desiree) Bigby, Brayden Bigby, Ethan Bigby, Henry Bigby, Jace Bigby, Kaylee Bigby, Nolan Bigby, Maya Messerly, Thunder Bigby, Harmony Bigby, Brody Bigby, Magazu Bigby, Alexis Bigby, Alan Jr. Bigby, Aleece Bigby, Kylee Bigby, Kevin Jr. Bigby, Kameron Bigby, Carter Bigby, Connor Bigby, Sophia Bigby, Truley Bigby, Katie Bigby, Elayne Bigby, Lynell Shephard, Zoe Stiffarm, Bryan Stiffarm, Estella Bigby, and Jordan White Clay; and great-great-grandchildren Amiliana Headley, Rickson and Bear Sunchild with two on the way.
