Delmar Hanson

Delmar Alden Hanson, 89, passed away December 19, 2020 at his home in Havre, Montana with his family at his side. A service will be held at a later date.

Delmar was born May 12, 1931 in Gilford, Montana. He graduated from Gildford High School in 1950. He married Jacqeline J Altman on November 25, 1950.

Delmar lived in Gildford until 1955 when he moved to Havre, Montana. He was a lifetime farmer and spent his early years working at Peterson Implement in the winters. He retired from farming in 2003.

In his free time, Delmar enjoyed morning and afternoon coffee club, collecting toy tractors, and camping in the Bears Paw Mountains.

Delmar is Survived by Michael (Sharyn Wallace) Hanson of Great Falls, MT, Arlen (Nancy Thole) Hanson of Missoula, MT, Wanda Hanson of Havre, MT, Renee (Kevin) Fitzgerald of Oakridge, NJ, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Memorial donations can be made to Sweet Medical Center and Bear Paw Hospice.
