Due to the construction jobs, the family moved multiple times, but eventually made Belt their home base where all 5 kids graduated from high school. After her family was raised, Dee worked at the Belt Café, the Belt Senior Citizens center and for a home care company. She was active in her church singing, quilting, knitting and crocheting hats for the needy.
