Daniel Dean Messerly Sr.

Daniel Dean Messerly Sr., age 72, of Hays Mt, peacefully passed away in his sleep on May 11, 2025 at his home.

Daniel was born at Fort Belknap to Glen and Leona (Longfox) Messerly and grew up in Lodge Pole, Mt. He later met and married Ramona (Mount) Messerly, and together they raised Sheila, Daniel (lil man), Glen, Jennifer, Breann, and Antonio Messerly. Alanis Doney, Celine and Madelyn Crasco, Danielle, Taylee, Dani Messerly and Jaspen and RaMarrah Camel. Glen Messerly Jr. and his adopted red headed stepchildren RayPaul Helgeson and Jesse (Snap) Snell Gerald (Manny) Healy.

Dean worked as a carpenter, heavy equipment operator, and a full-time grandpa –he always joked he liked his grandkids more then his kids. (LOL)

He loved to fish, hunt, and get wood in the fall with his kids and grandkids. Dean was a self-taught mechanic and proudly passed this skill on to his children and granddaughters. (The A-Team) He was always willing to teach his kids anything there was to know about life. Dean also loved to garden, just to see how many vegetables the family could grow. He also loved to make homemade wine, and he taught his granddaughters this fine art to pass the tradition on of wine making.

Daniel is survived by his wife Ramona, Daughters Jennifer Messerly , Jaspen and RaMarrah Camel, Danielle, Taylee, Dani Messerly of old hays. Breann Messerly of Billings, Alanis (Brandon) Doney, of Billings, Celine (Dominic) and Madelyn Crasco of Billings. Sons Glen (Paige) Messerly of Havre, Antonio Messerly of old Hays. Grandson Glen, Kyson Messerly of Havre, Kayonna Messerly of Havre, Jennessy Messerly of Billings. And two great granddaughter Sariyah Messerly of Billings and Aria Swanson of Billings.

Dean is proceeded in death with his oldest children Daniel Messerly and Sheila and Brandon Crasco. And his Parents and siblings.
