Dallas spent most his life on the Fort Belknap Reservation, except for his time spent on his college education and military service. He graduated from U of M with a degree in Social Work. Dallas was a husband, dad, grandfather, and brother. During his life he wore many hats, he was an EMT, fire fighter, Construction foreman, housing chairman, truck driver, CHR driver, Community councilor, and he even ran to be Govern of Montana, but what he enjoyed most being a Traditional Dancer. His life had many experiences that were shared with friends and family. His knowledge is one he shared with many, one of the first native men who was involved with American Indian movement. Dallas was a traditional Dancer, and he was one of the first to put up his Tee Pee at the Ft. Belknap Pow Wow. All his children, family and friends all enjoyed visiting with him at the camp. Many Stories laughs and Food was shared. His love of his life Lynda was eternal, they were perfect together, they shared many special times together and after her passing he missed her terribly. Dallas loved all his children unconditionally, and he was proud of all the things they have accomplished. He had a special spot in his heart for his grandchildren, they would always bring the biggest smile to his face every time they would visit. He enjoyed going to the Casino, soaking up the sun for hours on his front porch reading books, and his hidden talent playing the Harmonica.
