Carol Bailey Obituary

Carol Lynn Bailey 77, passed away on April 6th, 2025, at the Northern Montana Care Center after a long battle with Alzheimer. 
Carol was born Nov. 6, 1947 in Havre, MT to A.J. “Jim” and Mae Rose Shiftliff. She spent her whole life in Havre and graduated from Havre High School in 1966.  Later she then Met Ted Solomon and got married in 1969. From this union she had two daughters Kimberly and Shannon. Carol worked for the local VFW Bar while she was raising her children. Because of this she became friends with almost everyone in this community.  Later in life after she met Howard Bailey they Married on May 17, 2004, and were together until his passing in 2009. 
Carol was a hard worker who rarely missed a day of work, very social and strived to make everyone smile and laugh. She loved to sing, especially on karaoke night. She was the life of the party everywhere she went. She loved collecting unique valuable things and loved animals, and plants. She loved her family and was especially close to her two daughters. 
Carol is survived by her daughters  Kimberly Stover, and Shannon Solomon. Grandsons Trevor Solomon, James Daniel Edward and granddaughter Tina Edwards.  Her great grandchildren Nakula Solomon, Nakoia Solomon, Nakoda Solomon, James Edward, Preston Belcourt, Decklyn Edwards, and Kamiko Edwards. And her brother James (Christina) Shurtliff.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents A.J. “Jim” and Mae Rose Shiftliff, and Sister Tina Rae Jackson and husband Howard Bailey. 
The family had a private service.
