Camaron Filesteel

Camaron “Aashe Xaalia” Thomas Filesteel passed away April 27, 2025 in Billings, MT. A wake will be held April 29, 2025 at 6:00 PM, and a funeral will be held April 30th at 11:00 AM. Services will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fort Belknap, MT.

Camaron FIlesteel was born November 20, 1985 in Hardin, MT to Mitcheleen and Edward Filesteel. He was a full-time student and attended Martinsburg College in West Virginia, studying medical coding and billing. In his spare time, Camaron enjoyed spending time with his friends, nieces, and nephews, cooking, listening to music, and spending time with his mom. He was loving, compassionate, and selfless, and would give anyone the shirt off his back.

Camaron is survived by his mom Mitcheleen Filesteel; sisters Emma Filesteel, and Sandy Filesteel; brothers/cousins John Filesteel, Caleb Lebeau, John Short Loanbear, Preston Grant Jr., John Paul Snell, and Matt Bell; sister/cousins Colleen Filesteel, Brook Filesteel, Camille Short, Caramie Lebeau, Dionte Grant, and Iris Johnsen; nieces Mitchrena Bergay, Shiloh Grant, Skylee Grant, Macynn Firstraised; nephews Dalray Bergay, Dain Bergay, Eliahas Filesteel, Kaleb Filesteel, Dk’auri Blackman, Kyson Blackman; grandparents Joleen Buck, Sandra Grant, Alpha Ironman, and Clara Hugs; aunts Lyolene Dillon, Veronica “Cricket” Dillon, Marla Lonebear, and Katherine Lebeau, Denise Stiffarm, Presina Grant, and Tammy Grant; uncles John Muggy Filesteel, John Stiffarm; brothers in law Delbert Bergay, Victer Grant, Kyle Blackman; best friend Tucker Loftus; fur-kitties Koko and Kiki; and extensive friends and family.

Camaron is preceded in death by his father Edward Thomas Filesteel, and grandfather Edward Joseph Filesteel.
