Bruce Edward Babcock

Bruce Babcock passed away on May 19, 2024 with his beloved wife at his side after battling a 19 month journey with cancer. Bruce was born January 1, 1969 in North Louisiana. In 1986 Bruce joined the US Army. In 1991 he was called to War time for Desert Storm. During his military career he received many medals and awards.

Bruce met his wife Jennifer in the summer of 1991 and they married in December 1992. Unable to ever have children of their own, Bruce had many nieces and nephews whom he loved and treated as his own.

Bruce had a huge passion for family and friends.

He enjoyed Duck hunting, Deer hunting, Turkey and Alligator hunting, and he loved to fish. Bruce took great pride in showing and teaching his nephews how to hunt and fish. He was a man that was always ready to lend a helping hand, and has literally given the shirt off his back.

Bruce and his wife Jennifer left the southern states of Mississippi and Louisiana to fulfill their dream of retiring in Montana. They had been traveling to Montana for 18+ years where they made many amazing friends, whom Bruce considered all of them family. He became known as “The Big Guy”.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jennifer Babcock, mother (Stepfather), Mildred (Charlie) Reeves, sisters, Teresa (Mitchell) Adams, Malinda(Mitch) Harvison, also many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews whom he held dear to his heart.

A Quote from Bruce:

“Remember me with smiles and laughter because that’s the way I will remember you. But if you can only remember me with tears, then DON’T remember me at all.”
