Betty Lou (Fewer) Siewing, born May 16, 1927, in Prospect, Montana, to Laton and Elsie Merrick, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025, at Fairmount Village in Peoria, Arizona, with her sons by her side. She was 97 years old.
Betty was a loving mother and devoted caregiver who lived her life to care for others. She was married to Allen Hill Sr. and later to Mark Siewing. As the one of eleven siblings in her family, she cherished her close relationships with her loved ones and held family above all else.
She is survived by her two sons, Allen (Julie) Hill Jr. of Indianapolis, IN, Clesson (Paula) Hill of Scottsdale, AZ, and grandchildren Diane (Andrew) Rakestraw, Audrey Hill, Valerie Hill, Shelby (Josh) Hill, Alexa Hill and great-grandson Joseph Hollins III. Betty’s kindness, strength, and compassion touched all who knew her, and her legacy of love and dedication will live on through her family and all who were fortunate to call her a friend.
A graveside memorial service will be held on June 25th at 3:00 pm at the Malta Cemetery. Following the service, a reception will be held at the VFW for coffee and cookies as we gather to celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to your favorite charity in Betty’s memory.
