With deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Annie Hofer, age 86, of Loring Colony.
Annie was born in Sterling, Alberta to Darius and Kathrina Hofer, she lived at Wolf Creek for 8 years. In 1947 she moved to Deerfield, Montana. Then she married the love of her life Paul Hofer in June 1964 and moved to Harlem Colony where they started their family.
They moved again to Loring, Montana in 1986. She and her husband tended the garden and took care of the children for about 15 years. Grandma loved working in the soil and growing flowers.
Annie faced life with a steadfast faith, she was a dedicated and blunt Christian who said it like it was. She loved telling everyone about Jesus. Her hobbies were reading, knitting and crocheting beautiful rugs. Her darling hands were proof of a Hard working lady.
Annie loved nothing more than to be surrounded by family visiting and fellowship, and sharing her love for Jesus. Her go to saying was, "Ich bin Der Weg, die Warheit und das leben, Niemand kompt zuden Fater den durch mich..." Her phone calls to her family and sisters made her day.
Annie leaves to mourn her children Leonard (Leigh) of Harlem, MT, their children Alyssa and Brittany, Ed (Matilda) of Loring, their children Leroy, Lowell, Tamara, Rachel (Michael) of Hines Creek, their children Valerie, Bradley, Corey, Collin, Tim (Christina) of Loring and their children Carrieann, Corrine, Christin, Helen (Eddy) of Turner and their children Rylan, Grace, Kaelyn.
She will be spending Christmas in Heaven with her husband Paul, daughter Anna, parents Katie and Darius, siblings Katie, Darius, Andy, John, Leonard, Evelyn and Dorothea, and many more loved ones. How beautiful Heaven must be.
“Come to me all who are weary and burdened, And I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am Gentle and Humble in my Heart, And you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my Burden is light” Matt 11:28-30
