Amber Short

Amber Leigh Short was born on February 17, 1974, and passed away on February 17, 2025 from complications of diabetes.
Amber was born in Great Falls, MT to Linda (Sugar) Blackbird and Robert (Bubz) Short. She attended elementary school in North Dakota and Sacramento, California but Montana was always home to her. Amber had four children, Dakota Short, Aubrey Stanley, Vincent Short, and Carter Short. 
Amber had numerous jobs working in fast food. She lived a carefree life and often traveled back and forth from Montana to California. She had a heart of gold; if anyone needed something, she was there to help. Amber liked going to pow-wows, playing bingo, crocheting, and especially shopping.
Amber is survived by her mom Linda Sugar Blackbird; sons Dakota Short, Vince Short; daughter Aubrey Stanley; brother Robert Blackbird. And many relatives from California to Montana.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert (Bubz) Short; and brother Vincent Douglas Short.
